Starring :
 Osho Raja
 Hriju Roy
Vikram Aditya, Shatrughan Sinha, Jaya Pradha.

The team, that earlier made RETURN OF JEWEL THIEF starring the evergreen hero Dev Anand, is now back with BHARAT BHAGYA VIDHATA. This film is produced by T.P.Agarwal and directed by Osho Raja. Music of the film is composed by Hriju Roy.

Bharat Bhagya Vidhata exposes a sensitive issue of terror and terrorism from across the border.

The story is about Chaitanya Suryavanshi (Vikram Aditya), a young Indian and an ideal son of his parents - India's Home Minister Mahendra Suryavanshi (Shatrughan Sinha) and Rukmini Suryavanshi (Jaya Pradha), who is also the principal of his school St. Marks.

------
The story also revolves around Sapna (Rinku Ghosh), Chaitanya's girlfriend. It also involves their friends, their lives and happiness. Our national hero Major Abdul Hameed (Puru Raaj Kumar) captures Jallaluddin Ghaznavi (Tom Alter) a dreadful terrorist after an intensive operation. Due to the arrest of Jallaluddin, India is going through a bad phase and is now in a critical situation as Shabbir Khan (Chandrachur Singh) is planning an operation to get Jallaluddin back. He holds the countries peace and is ready to bargain for the release of Jallaluddin and other terrorists.

The story takes a turn when Chandrachur kidnaps Jaya Pradha and her students. Then follows a dramatic sequence between Chandrachur Singh and Jaya Pradha. The end is very, very historic as one gets an overdose of action.

Director Osho Raja feels it's a story for new generation. Its time for them to learn to love and respect their country. The war of words between Shatrughan Sinha and Tom Alter in the cell is first-rate. Talk between Chandrachur – Jaya Pradha is well executed. Thus, Lawrence John's dialogues are very catche. Hriju Roy's music is not very impressive, it's below par.

Shatrughan Sinha is excellent as always. Jaya Pradha is just about okay. Chandrachur Singh impresses the audience with right expressions. Puru Raaj Kumar is fitful. Asha Saini, Vikram Aditya and Rinku Ghosh are passable. Tom Alter leaves his mark with his acting and makeover. On an whole, although BHARAT BHAGYA VIDHATA dare's to point finger's to the neighbouring country, it fails to leave its mark.
