Mihir, err..Amar Upadhyay (of Kyuki..SBKBT fame) makes his debut in this make-believe
thriller, falling short of expectations. Dhund may not set the cash registers ringing (which is a common
feature now, week after week). Technical aspects take a backseat, thereby minimizing your interest.
Anyways, theres this photographer duo of Sameer (Amar) and Kunal (Apoorva)
who fall for the leggy beauties, Simran (Aditi) and Kajal (Divya) respectively.
Simran wins a beauty contest, much to the dislike of her close competitor, Tanya. Obviously, Tanya is
heart-broken, but her brother Ajit Khurana (Irfan Khan, in a weird hairdo) isn't ready to take
things lying down. He fumes revenge by plotting to kill Simran. But he himself is killed by Simran and Divya,
while defending themselves. That leaves all the four friends in a tight spot. And instead of calling the police,
they take the matter in their own hands. They dump Khurana's body and run away.
But the situation takes a U-turn when surprisingly; Khurana resurfaces again, as he's still alive, making life
hell for all of them. The climax, where the killer reveals his / her true motive to kill, is a letdown.
Technical points go terribly wrong. A body is shown taken out of a locked car, without its keys. In another
scene, a dirty pool is shown absolutely clean underneath, making you find reason that the shot was filmed
on some other pool. And lastly, what do you do when the culprit cuts off the phone lines? Simple, use the
cell phone. But here, the poor heroine doesn't have one, despite being stinking rich. You can't help but nod
in disbelief.

On the upside, count the background score, which scare the daylights out of you.
Of the cast, Amar Upadhyay makes his foray into films with a decent performance. Apoorva Agnihotri is
overshadowed all along by the television star who made his role amar in Kyuki..SBKBT. Whereas,
Aditi Govitrikar is only fit to be put up in a showcase, with the viewers admiring her beauty. She plays the
showpiece doll again. Acting is not her forte. Her dialogue delivery is terrible too.
The highlight of this foggy movie is Irfan Khan. He is deadly cool, and is able to give you a sweat
(which actually any dreaded villain should).
